JAMMU, JULY 21: As mobile Internet services remain suspended for the 12th consecutive day here, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Jammu (CCIJ) has demanded immediate restoration of the service.
“The Internet services should be restored without any further delay, otherwise the chamber will be forced to take appropriate action,” CCIJ President, Rakesh Gupta said after convening an meeting in view of the snapping of Internet services in Jammu.
He said the suspension of the Internet services has affected badly the business fraternity of the region.
The traders sent a memo through fax to Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu requesting an extension in the date for filing of VAT returns and extension in the date for depositing of VAT tax at least by three months.
Meanwhile, officials said no decision has been taken over the restoration of services.
